Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing
The existence of the BIPA training program that has been in place since the end of 2017 contributes externally and internally. Externally, this program is a form of UNIPMA's support for the Ministry of Research and Development's national program on cultural diplomacy through language and culture. Spreading and introducing the Indonesian language and culture is Indonesia's soft diplomacy to make the Indonesian language one of the languages of communication between nations. The university's involvement in the international arena through BIPA is a tool to create wider links and cooperation both nationally and internationally in the field of teaching Indonesian for foreign students.
Although it has been around for a long time, BIPA UNIPMA has not steadily had a market. It is hoped that in the future this program will be able to survive, be independent, and grow into a separate unit. BIPA instructors consist of several lecturers who have attended training from APPBIPA East Java. The lecturers involved come from English Language Education, Indonesian Language and Literature Education, and Primary School Teacher Education.
